Terms of sale.

KLIP'S is operated by an independent French studio based in Paris (full company information available on the legal notice page). KLIP'S is the seller of record for every order placed on this website.

KLIP'S sells clip-on case dress-ups and replacement straps designed exclusively for the Audemars Piguet × Swatch collaboration. Our products contain no movement, no battery, no crystal and no timekeeping component. They are accessories. KLIP'S is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Audemars Piguet or Swatch. The buyer acknowledges that the KLIP'S product, on its own, does not perform any timekeeping function.

Every shape, colourway, photograph and text on this site is an original creation of KLIP'S. KLIP'S retains all intellectual property rights on its designs and trademarks. The buyer acquires the physical product only and receives no licence on KLIP'S designs, trademarks or images. Any reproduction, moulding, scanning, photographing for commercial purposes, or commercial copying of a KLIP'S product is strictly prohibited and will be prosecuted under Articles L335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.

KLIP'S product photography is generated with AI from KLIP'S' own designs and prototypes. No third-party brand image is used. The use of AI does not transfer any right to the buyer over the produced visuals.

An order is placed when the buyer validates the cart and the payment is captured by our payment processor. KLIP'S confirms the order by email within minutes of capture. The order is binding on both parties from that confirmation.

Each order is treated as a single individual purchase. There is no subscription, no auto-renewal, and no recurring billing. KLIP'S reserves the right to refuse any order that appears fraudulent, incomplete or made in bad faith, with full refund of the captured amount.

Prices are listed in euros, VAT included for EU buyers. For non-EU shipping addresses, prices are listed exclusive of local taxes; the buyer is responsible for paying any import duties or local VAT due on delivery. Payment is captured at order validation by our payment processor (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified, EU-based). KLIP'S does not store card data on its own servers.

In-stock orders ship within 48 working hours. The maximum lead time on any order is 3 months from the order date. See the shipping page for the full mechanism, including the 60-day notice and the swap option.

KLIP'S sales are final. The right of withdrawal does not apply because each piece is made or finalised to the buyer's specification (Article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code). The full reasoning, your statutory rights regarding non-conformity, and the only cases of replacement are documented on the no-refund policy page, which forms an integral part of these terms.

By validating the cart, the buyer expressly waives the right of withdrawal under Article L221-28 3°, which is permitted under EU law for personalised goods.

KLIP'S products carry the legal warranty of conformity (Articles L217-3 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, two years from delivery) and the warranty against hidden defects (Articles 1641 et seq. of the Civil Code, two years from discovery). Normal wear (matte finish dulling, fibre pilling on the strap, micro-marks on contact zones) is not a defect.

Claims under the legal warranty are handled by email; no return is required to file the claim, but evidence (photos, video) is mandatory. Replacement is the remedy of choice; if replacement is impossible (sold-out colourway), KLIP'S may offer an equivalent colourway or, exceptionally, a refund of the unit price.

KLIP'S is liable only for damage directly caused by a proven defect of its product. KLIP'S is not liable for any damage caused to the buyer's watch, wrist or property resulting from misuse, off-label use, forced fitting on a non-compatible watch, immersion beyond the watch's published rating, or modification of the product. The buyer's total recourse against KLIP'S in any single matter is capped at the unit price of the product purchased.

These terms are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be brought before the competent French courts. Consumers may also use the European online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by force majeure, including but not limited to natural disasters, government action, public health emergencies, transport strikes, raw material shortages, or interruption of essential services. In such a case the 3-month lead-time cap is suspended for the duration of the event.

If any clause of these terms is held invalid by a competent court, the remaining clauses remain in full effect.

These terms are published in English. A French translation is available on request and is the binding version in case of any discrepancy with the English text, in accordance with French consumer protection law.
